Great Pics from Pam Stadler Kowalewski

My dear friend Pam Stadler Kowalewski has been using her time social distancing to look through old photos. She has come across some great images of Gardenville and West Seneca. Here are her photos and some of the stories that go with them.

The Peerless Belting Company
1300 Indian Church Road
Harry and Amelia Grabenstatter converted it into a home after a fire in 1942
Ferol ( Grabenstatter) and Mr. Kenneth Webb owned it until their deaths.
This building sits on Indian Church and Jack Berry Street behind 14 Holy Helpers Church. School Street connects to Jack Berry

Here’s some additional information. Ferol worked for many years as a docent at the Buffalo Zoo. She often brought animals into schools and community gatherings such as the Burchfield Nature & Art Center to teach children and adults all that animals have to offer us. She was also the town historian and served on the environmental commission.

Ken was known throughout the area for the beautiful delphiniums he grew and sold.
